Head of Marketing
Decisive is the AI-native workspace for lean teams — chat, tasks, docs, decisions, voice and a coding agent that ships real pull requests, in one surface where humans and AI work as one team. We have a sharp product and an early base of teams who love it. We need someone to turn that into a story the whole industry hears. You’ll be our first marketing hire and own the function end to end.
What you’ll do
- Own positioning and messaging — make “AI-native workspace for lean teams” impossible to ignore and easy to repeat.
- Build the growth engine: content, SEO, launches, lifecycle and the channels that actually move early-access signups.
- Run our build-in-the-open story across the blog, social, launches and community — turn shipping into marketing.
- Own the funnel from first touch to onboarded team, and report on the numbers that matter.
- Partner with the founders on narrative, pricing and the path from alpha to a self-serve product.
- Hire and shape the marketing team as we grow — you set the bar.
What we’re looking for
- You’ve driven real growth for a developer or productivity product — ideally early-stage, ideally technical buyers.
- You’re a genuinely strong writer who can make a complex product feel obvious.
- You’re full-stack on marketing: strategy and the hands-on execution, because at our size you do both.
- You actually use AI tools in your work and have a point of view on where this is going.
- You move fast, ship in the open, and measure what you do.
Bonus points
- You’ve taken a product from alpha to a real launch and lived through the messy middle.
- You have a following or a body of work — a newsletter, a blog, talks, a community.
- You’ve marketed to engineers and earned their trust without dumbing things down.
