What a credit buys
≈ $0.01
1 credit is about $0.01 of AI compute. A typical @AI chat reply uses 2–4 credits.
Buy any amount from 500 up to 500,000 credits, in blocks of 100 - the volume rate applies to the whole purchase, and past 100,000 credits every purchase lands on the 1.1¢ rate. Credits are per workspace and work on every plan. On Max every purchase is 5% under the rates above - automatic top-ups included. Nothing renews unless you ask it to: switch on automatic top-up and we'll buy more whenever the balance falls below a figure you set.
Questions about pricing.
Is there a free plan?
No. Every new workspace starts on a 14-day trial of the Start-up plan instead: unlimited seats, chat, tasks, docs and huddles, twenty apps, the voice assistant, and the AI teammate working in all of it, with 1,000 AI credits to spend. No credit card to start, and nothing is billed during the trial.
What happens when the trial ends?
An admin chooses Start-up or Max in Settings → Billing and the workspace carries on. If nobody does, the workspace is locked, not deleted: everything in it is kept, admins can still export it, and it opens again the moment a plan starts. Unspent AI credits stay with the workspace.
What is an AI credit?
The unit AI usage is metered in. One credit is about $0.01 of AI compute, and a typical @AI chat reply uses two to four. Credits are shared by the whole workspace rather than allocated per person, they never expire, and every new workspace starts with 1,000 of them.
What happens when we run out of credits?
The AI stops answering and says so; everything else - chat, tasks, docs, huddles - keeps working normally. An admin buys more in Settings → Billing and it resumes immediately. Nothing is deleted and no work is lost. Teams that would rather not think about it can switch on automatic top-up, which buys more the moment the balance runs low.
What is the difference between seats and credits?
Seats are per person, per month, and cover the workspace itself. Credits meter what the AI does and are bought separately, by the workspace, on any plan and during the trial. Seats are the only thing that recurs: credits are a one-time purchase you make when you want them. A team that barely uses the AI pays for seats alone.
Can we pay monthly instead of annually?
Yes. Both cycles are in the table above - annual is a fifth cheaper per seat, and monthly has no commitment.
Prices are per seat in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Annual plans are billed yearly at the listed monthly rate. AI credits are shared by the whole workspace and never expire; buying credits is a one-time payment, on every plan, and automatic top-up only charges when the balance falls below the figure you set. Welcome credits are a one-time grant on the first workspace you create. Payments are processed by Stripe. Questions about a plan? Get in touch or book a call.
